The Captain Georgantas is a great travelers' hotel for this price range. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and provided useful information about the island and great recommendations for activities in the area.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. The room was exactly as in the pics (i.e. no...wide angle photo!) the hotel is in a great location, everything is within a few meters walk, very clean, the owner very friendly and accomodating (one day that I was late and missed breakfast he prepared it for me!) and an overall very good value for money. A truly very well run hotel hotel that I recommend

Shower is a bit small, but still acceptable. TVs should be a bit larger.

Location! In the middle of the village, room was spacious, clean, nice veranda, the staff was very polite and helpful. Breakfast was tasty.

Too expensive for what it offers! We booked online and paid more than 100E/night when rooms of the same (and even better) conditions were being offered for half the price by owners at the dock when you get off the ferry. We only stayed for 4 days at Captain G. and then moved one block further for half the price, bigger space, full kitchen and swimming pool. The wireless never worked unless you stayed in the lobby. The mattresses were very uncomfortable and need upgrading. Cleaning staff did not change the bed sheets and did not wipe either.

The staff was very kind, the location was really great near the harbour and close to all the shops. The room was clean and tidy. We suggest this accomodation.

Very good location, at the center of Adamas with all facilities accessible by foot. Nice staff and very good breakfast. The pool is nice.

Very noisy the morning, during the breakfast. Forget the lie-in. Beds are not very confortable. Air conditioning is very noisy.

I liked the convenience to the port. The owner was delightful, and very generous. He allowed me a late check-out time without charging extra as the room wasn't needed that day. The staff were welcoming and warm. I was travelling alone and I felt very safe here. Breakfast was very good and set me up for the day.The owner was very helpful in giving me ideas of where to go, and he gave me a guidebook to keep.

The beds were very hard. I had to ask for a second pillow, and there was only one towel and a bath mat. The light bulb above my bed was burned out, but it was replaced when I asked. These are minor details, as once addressed they were put right. I've come to the conclusion that most beds in Greece are hard.

The location is bang in the center of the town.

The swimming pool is very dirty with hair floating around and located in a yard behind the hotel.

Convenient location , 7 minute walk to the ferry. Close to all restaurants with an mini mart and bakery almost next door Breakfast at 5 $euros was plentiful with scrambled eggs ,bacon ,toast etc. Pool was in excellent condition. Staff friendly and helpful.

Shower curtain could be an extra inch or so longer as we felt badly getting water on the floor even though thera was a drain on the floor.

Nice and close to the port. Staff was helpful for information on the island. Breakfast was fine

Even though the hotel is close to the port, It would have been nice to have had a shuttle ride to the port. With all our baggage it was hard going. All the other hotels we stayed at (11 others) had this service

At walking distance from the port, handy if you have a heavy luggage.Very clean rooms.Breakfast was plentiful.The owner is a nice person.

The fridge was a bit noisy in our room as well as the airco.

A very nice hotel, clean and comfortable, in a good position in Adamas near to all the facilities you may need (port is 1min, car rentals 1min). The personell is nice and will give you every info you need, and all speak english.

Hôtel propre, personnel correcte.

Nous étions 4 deux adultes et deux ados. Nous avons réservé la veille de notre arrivé, deux chambres doubles, il n'y avait pas de chambres familiales. Quand nous sommes arrivé ont nous a proposé une chambre familiale pour le prix des deux chambres doubles. Soit 240€ prix anormalement élevé pour l'ile. Les prix affichés sur les portes des chambres sont inférieurs aux prix demandés.
